Electronic arts have made a deal with Amazon India to exclusively sell it’s games on retailers site.
We are very excited to be the partner of choice for EA’s gaming portfolio in India. We are the fastest growing eCommerce platform in the country today and India’s Largest Video Gaming store. This partnership is a validation of the faith customers and sellers place on our brand. This partnership gives us the opportunity to forge deeper engagement with gaming enthusiasts across the country and aligns with our vision of offering customers in India the widest selection at low prices, fast and reliable delivery and a trustworthy shopping experience, said Noor Patel, director, category management, Amazon India.
The first game that comes out through this partnership is FIFA 16 which is up for pre-order on Amazon India(obviously). There are two editions for FIFA 16 which are standard and deluxe edition, The standard edition is priced at Rs 3,999 for Xbox One and PS4 and Rs 3,499 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The deluxe edition is priced at Rs 4,499 for Xbox One and PS4 and Rs 3,999 for Xbox 360 and PS3, the deluxe edition gives you up to 40 FUT Premium Gold Packs and Lionel Messi on your squad for 5 games to kick-start your Ultimate Team season. My personal suggestion is to just pre-order the standard edition as there is no real value in deluxe edition. EA won’t be releasing FIFA 16 for PC on disc, so you will have to buy it on origin.
