Google has made several interesting product announcements today, the products include it’s latest smartphone Nexus 6, it’s latest tablet offering the Nexus 9 and a somewhat surprising Nexus player.
The Nexus 6 features a 5.96-inch QHD AMOLED display, 13MP rear facing camera with optical image stabilization and a 2MP front facing camera , Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage, wireless charging, 3,220mAh battery. The Nexus 6 comes with the latest version of Android Lollipop installed on it and will be priced at $649, Pre-Orders are set to begin on the 29th of October.
The Nexus 9 features an 8.9-inch 4:3 display, with a ratio of 2048×1536, 2.3GHz dual-core 64-bit Tegra K1 processor, 2GB of RAM, front facing BoomSound speakers, rear 8MP camera, 16GB or 32GB of storage, and a massive 6,700mAh battery. It’s also wrapped in a soft grip backing, with brushed metal accents along its sides, and comes in three different colors.
The Nexus Player is a $99 set-top box made in collaboration with Asus. It features a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a Bluetooth 4.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi radio, 8GB of storage, and a microUSB port along with a powerful PowerVR Series 6 GPU, and supports an official gamepad accessory that will be sold separately for $39.
